TRENDS IN eLEARNING
This module should enable me to understand the emerging technologies at both theoretical and practical levels.  it should also guide me on how to evaluate and implement these technologies within the teaching / learning environment. This module was taken between 15th November 2008 and 3rd February 2009. The subject matter is as follows:

1. Overview of Current trends

3. Serious Games and Virtual Worlds
A perusal of serious educational games and a visit to Second Life, on the 11th December, at the Blarney Stone Irish Bar. My genesis was named Brent Dubratt.

4. Impact of Technology on Education

This paper will compare two platforms for displaying ePortfolios.  The platforms that will be compared will be Mahara and a modified website.
